Your Role

Zip is looking for a Partner Business Manager, a key role within our organization, responsible for building and nurturing strategic relationships with a defined set of partners to drive sales and ensure customer success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in partner management, sales, customer success, and marketing within the procurement sector.

You Will be Responsible for:

  • Partner Recruitment:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential partners and evaluate their compatibility with our company’s goals and values.

    • Engage, and onboard new partners to expand our partner network including making sure the partner enrolls and successfully completes enablement.

    • Establish high impact partner business plans and clear joint GTM strategies to drive sales growth with partner sourced opportunities and accelerate market expansion.

  • Pipeline Generation:

    • Work closely with partners to identify and generate new sales opportunities leveraging their relationships and other lead generation channels in building a robust sales pipeline.

    • Track and manage partner-generated leads and ensure they are effectively followed up by the sales team.

    • Provide regular pipeline reports and updates to the management team including suggestions to accelerate high quality pipeline and conversion

  • Partner Marketing:

    • Work closely with our partner marketing team to develop and execute co-marketing strategies and campaigns with partners to promote joint solutions and drive lead generation.

    • Manage partner marketing materials, such as brochures, case studies, and presentations.

    • Plan and participate in joint marketing events, webinars, and trade shows to increase visibility and drive engagement.

    • Ensure an effective lead to sales handover with followups with both the partner and sales

  • Sales Management:

    • Set and achieve sales targets through effective partner collaboration and support.

    • Closely work with each partner on key sales opportunities, ensuring the partner and sales teams are supported through to the successful conclusion of the sales cycle / win.

    • Provide partners with the necessary tools, resources, and training from both the partner team and extended teams that support the partner organization to maximize their sales performance.

  • Customer Success:

    • Ensure partners deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout sales and delivery by partnering our cross functional teams with the partner in driving the desired customer outcomes.

    • Monitor and evaluate partner performance to ensure alignment with customer success goals.

    • Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams to resolve any issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Strategic Planning:

    • Contribute to the development of the overall partner strategy and ensure alignment with the company’s vision and objectives.

    • Analyze partner performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

    • Stay abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in partner management, sales, customer success, and marketing within the technology sector.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving targets and delivering value.

  • Knowledge of the procurement technology space is a bonus.
