Mid-Market Account Executive: New Zealand
This is a remote role based in New Zealand, with a preference for candidates located in Auckland or Wellington.
About the Role
As we continue to expand our presence across New Zealand, we’re hiring our first in-region Mid-Market Account Executive. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a disruptive, fast-growing company as we build out a local team.

In this role, you’ll own the full sales cycle and work closely with both end customers and channel partners to win new business and grow existing accounts. If you have a strong background selling security solutions then we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including outbound activity, virtual demos, proposals, and negotiations.
- Build and grow a strong pipeline of mid-market customers across New Zealand.
- Work closely with local integrators, resellers, and channel partners.
- Develop a deep understanding of Verkada’s product suite and how it fits into the broader physical security ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to deliver tailored technical demos and ensure successful product rollouts.
- Provide feedback from the New Zealand market to help shape regional strategy and product improvements.
- Be a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through the transition to cloud-managed physical security.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying role, ideally within the security integrator/reseller space.
- Experience selling physical security, SaaS, or IT infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge and network of New Zealand’s channel and partner landscape.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting with frequent travel to customers/partners across New Zealand, as well as regular visits to the Sydney office.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proven track record of consecutive quota attainment.
