Overview

Verkada is seeking a Business Systems Support Specialist to support its Business Systems team, growing internal user base, and sales team. This position will work with our Business Systems team and internal customers on the daily and proper use of our tools and processes. A successful Support Specialist is meticulous and driven to ensure that platform users have the very best possible experience when using our tools. Our Business Systems team is a lean, creative, highly technical, fast-moving group with a strong passion for solving problems and implementing scalable systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support for platform users using the various tools that the business systems team has built.
  • Prioritize and cultivate a positive user experience within our Salesforce environment for the sales organization.
  • Document and communicate proper processes, tips, and tricks.
  • Enable the user base to use business tools properly.
  • Understand the context and scale of our systems, and use that knowledge to effectively problem solve.
  • Identify areas of improvement within existing platforms and work with engineering teams to deliver regular improvements.

Requirements

  • A customer-obsessed mindset, eagerness to learn, and a passion for helping others
  • Solid understanding in business analysis including intermediate Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical matters both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
