What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage the customer engineering and DevOps teams
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures for the company's cloud operations
  • Work closely with all the development teams, hold them accountable for adhering to DevOps best practices and ensuring that their code is deployable, scalable, and maintainable in the cloud environment
  • Establish cost governance and drive down the operating costs of the product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive product improvements to improve supportability
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and productivity
  • Drive production incident management, coordinate and drive debugging production issues, and represent the entire engineering team in sessions with the customers
  • Drive quality first mindset in the team and ensure that the product meets the quality and compliance guidelines
  • Empathize with the customers and be the voice of the customer in all the product related activities
  • Act decisively and remove impediments for the team
  • Hire strong engineers and retain them
  • Be the cultural steward and uphold the company values
