Key Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from legacy systems into target environments using approved tools and scripts.
- Analyze and map data between source and destination systems, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and define conversion strategies.
- Identify data inconsistencies and perform validation checks to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Document data mapping, transformation logic, and conversion procedures for reference and audits.
- Troubleshoot issues encountered during extraction, transformation, and loading phases.
- Prepare conversion reports, reconciliation summaries, and post-migration validations.
- Support go-live activities by executing conversion cycles and resolving data-related issues.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in data conversion, migration, or ETL development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts; familiarity with ETL tools preferred.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good documentation and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
