Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Operations Manager - Data Custodian to take ownership of our sales data management processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of all sales-related data across our systems. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and IT teams to optimize data workflows, support data-driven decision-making, and maintain compliance with data governance policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management: Oversee the management of all sales data, including data entry, validation, cleansing, and updating in CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of sales data by establishing and maintaining rigorous data quality standards and processes. Monitor, action, and resolve all data maintenance related inquiries in a timely manner.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve data management processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and support the scalability of sales operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, IT, and finance teams to ensure that data flows seamlessly across systems and supports business needs.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and distribute regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline health, and other key metrics.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to the sales team on data management best practices and the effective use of CRM and other sales tools.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations, and assist with audits as needed.
- Data Governance: Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures, ensuring that data is handled consistently across the organization.
Skills and Experience
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in sales operations, data management, or a related role, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), data management tools (e.g., Validity DemandTools), and Excel; experience with data integration platforms and SQL is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing and analyzing data.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and present data findings to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify data-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ethics & Compliance: Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and security.

The salary range for this position is $94,000 - $159,000. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position is also eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. In addition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation.
