About the role

The Finance team keeps Revolut moving with clarity and confidence. From accounting to strategic support, they work across the business to assess risk, guide decisions, and drive growth. Their insight shapes everything from daily operations to long-term plans and plays a key role in how we scale.

We're looking for a result-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing team in Japan. You'll be pulling together accounts that cover a range of financial functions, with a focus on accounting, financial modelling, and cash management.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with accounting and financial reporting, providing commercial and operational management information
• Supporting day-to-day financial operations and providing insights into Revolut Japan's financial performance, risks, and financial management
• Performing month-end closing and reconciliation
• Contributing to process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes
• Reporting on regulatory tax requirements of local entities
• Contributing to building a scalable and efficient accounting and finance function
• Providing timely and effective support during the annual audit process and regulatory inquiries/inspections
• Managing accounts payable/accounts receivable operations

• 国内法人における法定税務要件に基づいた報告業務
• 拡張性が高く効率的な経理・財務機能の構築への貢献
• 年次監査プロセスおよび規制当局からの問い合わせ・検査における、適時かつ効果的なサポートの提供
• 売掛金・買掛金（AP/AR）管理業務の遂行

What you'll need

• A university degree in finance, economics, or other relevant field
• 1+ years of experience in finance and controlling functions, with experience in a corporate or accounting firm
• Solid accounting knowledge, including of J-GAAP or IFRS/FRS
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• The ability to comprehend and narrate financial records
• Good punctuality and time management skills
• Great analytical skills and a hands-on attitude
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Fluency in English and Japanese

• Microsoft Office（特にExcel）の高度なスキル
• 英語および日本語における流暢なコミュニケーション能力（ビジネスレベル以上

Nice to have

• A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience in banking or IT-related finance/accounting
• Experience in month-end closing, functional reporting, and preparation of statutory accounts
• Knowledge of accounting systems (NetSuite)
