The Role:
Lead Razorpay’s digital performance and brand media charter across Display, Video, OTT, CTV, Programmatic, and Social platforms. Drive high-value merchant acquisitions and brand equity through complex, multi-channel campaigns. Champion AI-driven marketing workflows, advanced measurement frameworks, and cross-functional innovation to maximize ROI. Blend performance with storytelling to deliver both immediate business outcomes and long-term brand growth, while building and mentoring a high-performing marketing team.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead Razorpay’s display & video marketing strategy across (IG, YT, LinkedIn OTT, CTV, programmatic channels & others) for both performance and brand objectives.
- Manage highly complex & multi-channel digital ads to maximize ROI while driving high value merchant acquisitions and brand awareness.
- Champion AI-driven marketing workflows, building automations (not limited to n8n, Zapier, etc.) for targeting, bidding, optimization, and reporting.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Business, and Design teams to run high-impact, full-funnel campaigns.
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of channel managers, analysts, and ad-ops specialists, while managing agencies and external partners.
- Drive measurement excellence with advanced frameworks, incrementality testing, MMM, MTA, brand lift, attention metrics.
- Establish AI-first playbooks as a builder in the first 6 months, and then scale them into sustainable 10× growth engines
- Influence and partner with brand teams to develop video-first storytelling and ad variations that maximize impact across platforms.
- Constantly experiment with new formats, channels, and technologies to keep Razorpay ahead of digital marketing trends.
- Drive end-to-end integration of analytics, attribution, and data platforms, ensuring razor-sharp insights and decision-making at scale
- Build strong strategic partnerships with platforms (Meta, Google, LinkedIn etc) to access innovations and unlock competitive advantage.
Mandatory Qualifications
- 8–10 years of deep performance marketing experience in high-growth startups (e-commerce, fintech, or similar).
- Proven track record of managing ₹10–20 Cr+ monthly budgets across Meta, YouTube, OTT, CTV, affiliates, and programmatic DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, etc.).
- Hands-on expertise in AI workflows and prompt engineering, building and deploying automations, not just adopting tools.
- Strong foundation in advanced measurement frameworks (MMM, MTA, incrementality testing, brand lift).
- Skilled in blending performance marketing with brand storytelling, creating campaigns that deliver immediate results and long-term equity
- Experience in team leadership and vendor/agency management.
- Hustler mindset with strong bias for speed, experimentation, and ownership.
- Exposure to performance-driven influencer collaborations, or creative strategy.
