The Role:
We are looking for an IT Engineer to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Client operating systems - Mac, Windows. General maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software. The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.
Your goal will be to provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards.
- Manages system/application environment and ongoing operations;
- Performs on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies;
- Contribute input to infrastructure architecture;
- Provide input into infrastructure architecture designs;
- Researches, designs, implements and tests technology solutions;
- Collaborates with IT and business area partners on work groups and initiatives;
- Troubleshoots software and/or hardware issues/failures;
- Ensures execution and alignment to architectural standards and blueprints;
- Resolves alerts and performs remediation activities;
- Writes programming/scripting;
- Determines migration and upgrade impacts and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors;
- Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology (MAC);
- Proactively monitors and reports performance and utilization of assigned technologies;
- Assists with developing tactical strategies, processes and procedures related to systems/application administration.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience analysing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions;
- 1 + Years of experience of hands-on experience in HelpDesk, IT administration.
- Experience using Agile methodology;
- Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities;
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment;
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately;
- Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system (MAC and Windows ).;
- Must have strong Apple product knowledge;
- High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy;
- Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration;
- Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
