⭐ Mission
Join our Legal team as a Legal Intern - Litigation to tackle a diverse range of cases and play a pivotal role in managing our litigation backlog. You will contribute to shaping our legal strategies and ensuring our operations adhere to the highest legal standards, under the guidance of Anne-Solène, our Lead Legal Counsel for France & Belgium.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Legal Intern - Litigation at Qonto, you will
● Conduct thorough legal research ensuring our legal strategies are built on solid grounds, dealing mostly with French Banking Law involving civil liability.
● Assist in drafting precise legal responses at the pre-litigation stage to protect Qonto's interests.
● Collaborate with the litigation and legal team to review lawyers' submissions and contribute to case strategy discussions.
● Work across departments, liaising with Back-Office, Anti-money laundering, and Customer Service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to legal challenges.

🤝 About your future manager:
Anne-Solène joined Qonto in 2023 as a Senior Legal Counsel after gaining valuable experience at Nickel and BNP Paribas. She specializes in contract negotiation, IP protection, and data privacy compliance across both French and international contexts. With experience working in London and holding a Master's in Anglo-American Business Law, she brings a global perspective to Qonto's legal challenges.
Her expertise in fintech and banking legal matters makes her an ideal mentor for your apprenticeship. She has experience supervising legal teams and interns, and her practical knowledge in contract management, IP protection, and regulatory compliance will help you develop essential skills while contributing meaningfully to Qonto's legal foundation.
You will be mentored daily by Sofia, Legal Counsel - Claims Manager.
● Her path: Sofia has been with Qonto for nearly 4 years, successfully evolving from Banking Operations to the Legal team. Her journey is a perfect example of the internal growth Qonto values.
● What she brings: With deep expertise in claims management and pre-litigation (particularly in international markets), she knows Qonto’s procedures inside out. She will be your go-to person for navigating daily tasks, mastering our tools, and understanding the operational side of banking litigation.
🏅 About You
● Education: You are pursuing a degree at the Paris Bar School or a Master’s program in law (Private Law, Business Litigation, or Banking Law).
● Hard Skills: You are proficient in legal research tools and have a solid understanding of the French legal market.
● Languages: You are fluent in French and English.
● Organization: You demonstrate the ability to manage your time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
● Communication: You are a strong communicator with the ability to work well in a team and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
