At Qonto, Banking Operations Officers are essential to our customers' success, managing critical administrative and legal processes that keep businesses running smoothly.
👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As an International Banking Operations Officer you will:
Oversee key procedures, including collective processes (liquidation and redress or restructuring), collective procedure alerts, enforcement actions (like seizures), and inheritance procedures.
Assist customers by notifying them via email to guide them through regularizing their acts.
Manage account closures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Prepare and distribute circular letters for external auditors, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Support cross-team communication and knowledge sharing by translating processes from French to Spanish
🤔 What you can expect:
Market/Team Context: You'll join a dynamic team of four professionals currently handling French and Spanish markets, with Spain being a key growth focus. The team operates with a collaborative approach where members support each other across various tasks.
Projects: You'll be involved in streamlining Spanish market operations, developing standardized processes, and implementing new tools for improved efficiency.

Her background? Juliette has over four years of experience at Qonto, where she has progressed from a back-office role to leading the Banking Operations team. Her journey reflects hands-on expertise in banking operations and a strong grasp of administrative and legal procedures. Before stepping into her current leadership role, Juliette developed a diverse skill set through positions at prestigious companies such as Shiseido and Relais & Châteaux

🏅 About you:
Experience: Previous experience in administrative operations or customer-facing roles, preferably in the fintech industry.
Language Skills: Bilingual in French and Spanish, a good level of English is needed for internal communication; other languages like Portuguese, Flemish, or Dutch are a plus.
Rigorousness: Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex documentation with high accuracy - as the role involves handling client funds and legal obligations.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify process improvements and contribute to optimization initiatives
