Join us as a Banking Operations Officer - Debt collection to develop and manage Qonto's emerging debt collection operations in Paris. Your primary focus will be on managing overdraft accounts and payment by installments, with occasional involvement in check-related tasks, while preparing for the future expansion of our banking operations function.
As a Banking Operations Officer - Debt collection, you will join a team of 3 (and growing) led by Thilelli, Lead Banking Operations for Checks and Debtors within the Banking Operations team.
👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Banking Operations Officer - Debt collection at Qonto, you will:
Monitor and manage the debt collection strategy internally and with external providers, ensuring the effective execution of both amicable and judicial processes.
Compile and organize all necessary documentation to support the debt collection process.
Resolve client issues related to check processing, overdraft accounts, ensuring a high client satisfaction.
Improve existing processes and create new ones within your scope of responsibility.
Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Service, AML and Fraud, Risk and Legal.

• Market/Team Context: You'll join the Banking operations (BO) team at Qonto, focusing on banking operations in a rapidly growing fintech environment that serves over 500,000 SMEs and freelancers across Europe
• Methodologies: We value structured approaches to banking operations and debt collection while maintaining our customer-focused values and ensuring clear communication with clients
• Projects: You'll contribute to the development of our debt collection activity, establishing processes that will scale with our business growth as we continue to expand our financial services and handle
• Tools we use: You'll work with Zendesk for customer issue management, Forest for our internal banking operations platform, Notion for knowledge management and documentation, and Slack for team communication and collaboration

Experience: You have up to 3 years of experience in banking operations and debt collection, preferably in a banking or fintech environment.
Curious mindset: You are intellectually curious, open-minded, adaptable, a fast learner, and excited by a dynamic scale-up environment.
Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adjust to evolving business needs
Problem-solving: You can develop effective operational strategies while maintaining positive client relationships
• Languages: You are fluent in French and have a good level of English.
