Description
About the Role
Emerging Technology is looking for a Product Manager ready to tackle complex, ambiguous problems at the heart of Salesforce. You'll join a small team that operates like a startup — prototyping quickly, grounding hypotheses in data, and iterating until we've cracked it. When one problem is solved, we hand it off and move on to the next one. If you're energized by building from zero-to-one, this is your home.
What You'll Be Doing
Own product initiatives end-to-end — from problem framing through delivery — working alongside senior PMs who will invest in your growth
Drive rapid prototyping and experimentation: validate concepts through data, customer feedback, and scrappy testing before committing to full builds
Translate ambiguous problems into clear product requirements and user stories that engineering and design teams can act on
Conduct customer research and synthesize insights to inform your product decisions
Collaborate across product, design, engineering, and operations to deliver production-ready MVPs on ambitious timelines
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing fresh perspectives that help the team spot the next opportunity
Maintain product roadmaps, write detailed specs, and define success metrics that tell us whether something is working
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of product management experience in an enterprise or startup environment
Builder and execution mindset: You thrive in ambiguity, prototype early, and can turn a rough direction into a plan teams can run with — even in matrixed, resource-constrained environments
AI-native skills: You use AI as a daily force multiplier, with hands-on experience in tools like Claude Code and/or Cursor to draft specs, analyze data, and prototype solutions
Communication and collaboration: You work effectively across product, design, engineering, and operations, and can adapt your communication style to diverse, cross-functional audiences
Customer focus and execution: You gather, synthesize, and act on user insights to inform decisions, and translate that understanding into requirements teams can ship
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or analytical discipline
Experience with LLMs and a working understanding of how to push and evaluate their output
Prior experience on a 0-to-1 or innovation team
What's in It for You
This role offers rare access to Salesforce's full product ecosystem at a stage where your work will be highly visible and directly impactful. You'll develop your craft alongside senior product leaders, move fast on real problems, and build a portfolio of shipped work that spans discovery, prototyping, and launch — all within a team that genuinely values speed, curiosity, and collaboration.
