Job Summary:
This role will support the Central Marketing Planning and Strategy team to operationalize and drive the end-to-end processes around marketing planning, strategy, operations and critical initiatives. This individual will support the dynamic growth of the marketing organization by building streamlined processes and frameworks to support all financial and operational processes. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, outstanding at handling large datasets, and an excellent collaborator and communicator.
This is not a remote position. #LI-Hybrid Candidate must also be able to work PST hours.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end process for outlook and actuals reporting, ensuring alignment between internal marketing systems and corporate Finance & Strategy (F&S) data.
Support the team during annual planning, quarterly close processes and other strategic initiatives critical to the success of the marketing organization.
Drive data integrity and governance standards across global marketing; partner with systems owners to simplify and clean data across multiple systems of record, reducing manual work and ensuring scalability through organizational change.
Lead financial reporting adjustments and historical data restatements following organizational changes to maintain data continuity and accuracy.
Track and update spend reports and executive decks to support business needs and ad hoc requests; leverage Salesforce tools to surface trending and analysis for upper management.
Partner with the Functional Strategy & Planning and Finance & Strategy teams to manage budget execution and track quarterly spend trends.
Serve as a key insights resource for business partners within marketing and across the organization; develop and deliver enablement materials to scale knowledge and support informed decision-making.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing Strategy, Operations, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field
6+ years of experience in Finance, Analytics, and/or Business Operations
Motivated, proactive self-starter able to work independently
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite. Must be quick to learn and adapt to new systems
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce Analytics); Salesforce or Tableau certification a plus
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior leaders
Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and structured approach to identifying opportunities
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality execution
Knowledge of GAAP based accounting recognition policies preferred
