The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted adviser to the business to help guide decision-making through business partner support and innovative and informative analyses. The Corporate team leads the Company’s short- and long-term financial planning processes. As a Director, you will own the overarching strategy, framework, and execution of the end-to-end forecasting, reporting, and modeling for Total Company Headcount and Workforce Compensation — our largest and most critical area of investment.
This is a high-visibility, executive-facing leadership role. You will be responsible for defining how the company looks at workforce analytics, guiding advanced modeling methodologies, and serving as a key strategic advisor to the Chief Operating & Financial Officer (COFO), Chief People Officer (Employee Success), and executive leadership to shape company-wide talent and investment strategies.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & Planning: Own and orchestrate the enterprise-wide, driver-based total company headcount planning architecture. Synthesize complex inputs across the business to build an integrated view of workforce and compensation strategy aligned to long-term corporate objectives.
Advanced Analytics & AI Strategy: Define the vision for and champion the deployment of advanced analytical tools, AI, and machine learning models to enhance scenario modeling accuracy, identify macro-level compensation trends, and curate potential financial outcomes for senior leadership.
Executive Curation & Storytelling: Define, curate, and deliver high-impact management reporting landscapes and strategic narratives for key executive forums (COFO, Board of Directors, Business Leadership Team (BLT), etc). Ensure insights are compellingly messaged to inform and persuade at the highest levels.
Systems & Process Transformation: Champion continuous process improvement and scalable system transformations across F&S. Partner with IT executives to define data governance frameworks, ensure compliance, and establish modern system requirements for automated, global planning.
Executive Stakeholder Management: Apply a strategic approach to building long-term, trusted partnerships across Employee Success, Accounting, Treasury, and F&S. Anticipate business needs and proactively align competing stakeholder goals to drive cross-functional results.
People Leadership & Team Building: Lead a cohesive, high-performing team of finance professionals. Foster an inclusive culture, actively mentor team members on career progression, and elevate the team's capabilities in advanced financial analysis and storytelling.
You're Our Person If...
Education: Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on core leadership behaviors (e.g., executive sponsorship, foundational organizational leadership, etc.).
Experience: 10–12+ years of progressive experience in analytically demanding financial, strategic services, or corporate planning roles, with clear experience leading teams and managing broad, complex corporate deliverables.
Executive Communication: Excellent communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal); a proven track record of synthesizing dense data architectures into clear, persuasive executive-level presentations.
Change Agility: Exceptional ability to navigate major shifts in corporate strategy, foster productive conflict to pressure-test ideas, and enable the broader organization to manage through ambiguity and change flawlessly.
Strategic Influence: Proven ability to build consensus, manage multiple senior stakeholders with autonomy, and influence resource allocation decisions at all levels of the enterprise.
Analytical Rigor: Expert-level proficiency of financial forecasting, complex scenario modeling, and risk management techniques.
Even Better If...
Comprehensive understanding of SaaS/high-tech industry trends, metrics, market dynamics, and global operational scaling challenges.
Extensive experience with enterprise performance management tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning) and data governance frameworks.
Proven experience leveraging advanced analytics, BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and data cleansing frameworks in a highly scalable way.
Prior experience successfully implementing or championing AI/ML integrations within corporate financial workflows.
This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.
