Employee Benefits Sr Analyst (Individual Contributor) is the subject matter expert responsible for the end-to-end design, governance, and administration of India’s benefits portfolio. The incumbent will own program effectiveness, drive vendor excellence, and lead strategic initiatives to enhance the employee experience through data-driven insights and process automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Administration & Operations Support the design and administration of India's benefits programs, including health, insurance, retirement, and wellness offerings.

Assist in managing Annual Open Enrollment (OE) — including design, project coordination, system testing, and employee communications

Handle employee queries related to benefits, leaves of absence (LOA), and policy interpretation, escalating complex cases as needed

Maintain and update SOPs and process documentation to ensure operational accuracy and consistency

Identify opportunities to improve manual processes and support the implementation of automation or efficiency improvements

Vendor Coordination:

Coordinate with insurance brokers, TPAs, wellness partners, and retirement fund administrators (PF/Gratuity) on a day-to-day basis

Track vendor SLAs and flag performance issues to senior team members

Support preparation of materials for quarterly business reviews (QBRs)

Data & Financial Support

Partner with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate benefit-related inputs and reconciliations

Maintain and analyze benefits data (enrollment, claims, premiums) using Excel or HRIS tools

Assist in benchmarking exercises by gathering and organizing market data

Compliance & Risk Management

Subject Matter Expert: Maintain deep knowledge of Indian labor laws, including the Maternity Act, Gratuity Act, and evolving Labor Codes.

Audit Readiness: Ensure 100% compliance in all benefit filings, statutory requirements, and policy documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: 6–9 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 4 years focused specifically on India Benefits.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel (data modeling for claims/costs) and experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Darwin, or SAP).

Skills: Strong negotiation skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
