Description

As a Manager of Strategic Sourcing, you will lead procurement execution and strategy for a diverse portfolio within AMER Workplace Services and Global Safety & Security. Your scope includes critical high-touch services such as Food & Beverage, Shuttles, and Digital Mail, alongside specialized security requirements including Physical Security, Executive Protection, and Event Security.

Reporting to the Director of Real Estate and Workplace Services Sourcing, you will be responsible for managing complex sourcing initiatives. You will use your experience and judgment to complete projects that impact department operations and organizational expenditure. You will act as a key partner to internal stakeholders, ensuring their strategic procurement needs are met with a focus on value, innovation, and operational excellence.

Your Impact

  • Strategic Sourcing Execution: Lead the end-to-end sourcing process (RFx) for assigned categories, identifying and assessing risks while ensuring timely delivery and contract execution.

  • Category Strategy: Lead the annual creation and quarterly refresh of category strategies, incorporating market research, Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, and global coordination.

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong relationships with Finance & Strategy (F&S) and business owners to align sourcing with budget cycles and organizational goals.

  • Contract & Negotiation: Lead redlining and negotiation of service agreements, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and compliance with Salesforce standards.

  • Supplier Performance: Lead supplier engagement and performance management, utilizing data dashboards to monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

  • Operational Excellence: Identify and implement process improvements, including the adoption of AI-driven tools and automated workflows to increase efficiency.

  • Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on judgment and data analysis that impact immediate department operations and short-term business unit goals.

Qualifications & Core Skills

  • Approximately 5–8 years of strategic procurement experience, with specific exposure to Facilities Management or Corporate Security.

  • Deep understanding of corporate facilities management and security supplier models, cost structures, and negotiation levers.

  • Demonstrated ability to run sourcing activities and manage deal modeling and negotiation strategies.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, practice attentive listening, and tell a data-driven story to influence decisions and engage stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in understanding, interpreting, and acting on spend data and KPI metrics to drive innovation and sound decision-making.

  • Ability to adopt new tools (AI/Automation), processes, and systems in pursuit of better ways of working and improved business outcomes.
