We are seeking an Activation Solution Engineer with D360 experience and an insatiable sense of curiosity to join our Activation Solution Engineering Team.
This role blends technical architecture, technical leadership, and delivery ownership to scale Agentforce capabilities across global customer implementations.
You will guide and advise teams building intelligent AI agents, copilots, and autonomous workflows while defining, developing and maintaining architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and enterprise deployment patterns.
Your Impact
Technical Architecture Leadership
Contribute to the architecture, implementation, and deployment of accurate, reliable, scalable, compliant, and trusted enterprise-grade Agentforce solutions.
Design intelligent agents and supporting components leveraging LLMs, prompt engineering, integration technologies, and orchestration frameworks.
Remain current on the cutting edge of AI technologies and patterns and incorporate them into the Activation Team’s work by example and through instruction
Define reusable patterns and implementations for agent skills, guardrails, and multi-agent collaboration and contemporary developments in the field of AI.
Drive key integrations across Salesforce product clouds and external systems.
Contribute to performance optimization, monitoring, and telemetry frameworks to achieve reference architectures for observability.
Build new and exciting components in an ever-growing and evolving market technology to provide scale and efficiency.
Make, document, and advocate design decisions on the basis of performance, maintainability, trust, scalability, and growth.
Apply Agentforce and AI solutions to optimize core Service Cloud and Field Service processes, such as intelligent case deflection, predictive maintenance, and autonomous work order scheduling.
Agentforce Capability Development
Contribute to the end-to-end lifecycle of Agentforce implementations.
Drive agent design, prompt strategies, and skill orchestration.
Build reusable accelerators and deployment frameworks.
Partner with Product, Partners, and Center of Excellence teams on pilots and innovation programs.
People Management & Team Leadership
Mentor newer Solution Engineers and Architects on Agentforce capabilities.
Contribute to and foster a culture of professional enjoyment, innovation, curiosity, and technical excellence.
Bring and example a strong growth mindset
Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and Customer Success teams.
Manage risks, dependencies, and execution roadmaps.
Support solutioning, estimations, and POD planning.
Governance & Best Practices
Define AI governance and guardrail frameworks.
Establish DevOps, CI/CD, and release standards.
Ensure compliance with Responsible AI and data security policies.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of relevant professional experience in a technical pre-sales or consulting role, with a focus on enterprise architecture.
Experience with Salesforce D360 (formerly Data Cloud)
Deep experience and expertise with Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning implementations.
Understanding and experience in working on distributed systems
Understanding of modern AI (including but not limited to LLMs, regression models, statistical models, human-in-the-loop, fine-tuning, prompt and context engineering, MCP, A2A)
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful services
Understanding of vibe coding and its place in modern software development (e.g., Claude code, Cursor, rulesets, and supporting patterns)
Experience with RAG architectures
Experience with public cloud infrastructure - AWS/Azure/GCP
Experience integrating LLMs and AI services into enterprise applications.
Proven experience in architecting and delivering large-scale enterprise solutions.
Security concepts (mTLS, PKI, OAuth/SAML etc)
Experience with open source projects and community development
Demonstrated experience learning new technologies quickly
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Agentforce / conversational AI / intelligent agents.
Expertise in Salesforce platform architecture.
Understanding of software development best practices, CI/CD, test-driven development, automated testing
Knowledge of integration architectures, patterns, and APIs (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Mulesoft)
Knowledge of multiple programming and other scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScipt, Node, Scala, Go.
Salesforce Architect certifications (Application/System/CTA track).
Exposure to multi-agent deployments and autonomous workflows.
Experience with NoSQL such as Cassandra, HBase and/or document store such as Elastic Search
Knowledge/Contribution to open source technology
Native Windows, Mac, and/or Linux development experience
Experience with distributed caching and load balancing systems
Possession of relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Service Cloud Consultant or Field Service Lightning Consultant Certifications.
