Description

The ECS Account Executive at Salesforce is a high-impact sales role focused on securing new business and expanding existing relationships within large Enterprise accounts.

The role balances aggressive outbound prospecting with sophisticated deal management to ensure predictable revenue growth.

Primary Objectives

Revenue Growth: Drive net-new revenue and expand the footprint within a defined portfolio of Enterprise clients.

Strategic Planning: Map out "whitespace" (untapped opportunities) and build long-term roadmaps for executive-level engagement.

Pipeline Excellence: Maintain a healthy sales funnel through personal prospecting, partner collaboration, and data-driven AI tools.

Operational Focus

Methodology: Strict adherence to MEDDPICC for deal inspection, risk identification, and forecasting accuracy.

Full Cycle Management: Ownership of the entire process—from initial cold outreach and demo delivery to ROI analysis and closing.

Collaboration: Acting as the "quarterback," aligning internal teams like Solution Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver value.

Required Profile

Experience: Proven track record in complex, high-stakes Enterprise sales and navigating matrixed organizations.

Skills: Exceptional storytelling, executive presence (C-suite level), and the ability to articulate business value rather than just technical features.

Mindset: A combination of "grit" and a "growth mindset," with a strong reliance on Salesforce tools and AI to maximize productivity.

What Success Looks Like
