The Impact You Will Have
You will lead the team that is building the agentic testing framework for Agentforce Supply Chain. As a Manager in Engineering, you are more than a technical lead; you are a strategic partner. You will lead a team of high-caliber engineers, guiding the technical roadmap and organizational structure that will define the future of AI in back office processes.

Strategic Vision: Define and drive the multi-year technical roadmap for your area, ensuring your team’s innovation aligns with the broader Agentforce mission while setting clear, measurable goals for engineering success.
Operational Excellence: You will uphold the processes for deployment, reliability, and safety guardrails that allow our agents to operate in mission-critical environments.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the primary technical bridge between Product Management, Design, and Salesforce Executive Leadership to drive feature delivery and business impact.
Requirements
Leadership Experience: 5+ years of professional engineering experience with 2-4+ years of direct people management, specifically leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment (SaaS or Startup preferred).
Technical Depth: A background in software architecture and distributed systems. You should be comfortable leading deep-dive architectural reviews for AI-driven backends.
Write Code: While your main job isn’t writing code, you lead by example. You can unblock team members, quickly prototype solutions to determine technical direction, and proactively do chores that reinforce a “see something fix it!” team culture.
Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical roadmaps to non-technical executive stakeholders and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Organizing Chaos: Experience leading multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
Salesforce DNA: Understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, Data Cloud, or Agentforce capabilities is a significant plus.
AI/ML Strategy: Proven experience scaling AI/ML products. You understand the nuances of the LLM lifecycle, from prompt orchestration to production serving (vLLM/SGLang).
