About Agentforce

Agentforce is Salesforce’s platform for building, evaluating, and managing AI-powered agents that transform how customers engage with brands and how work gets done. Agentforce enables organizations to create intelligent agents that can reason, act, and integrate deeply with CRM and external systems.

With Agentforce, agent builders across the spectrum — from low-code authors using declarative tools to pro-code developers using SDKs, APIs, and CLIs — can author, evaluate, deploy, and refine AI agents end to end.

Agentforce’s strength lies in its authoring tools, agent script, and evaluation framework, which allows builders and developers to rigorously create, test, measure, and improve agent behavior through iterative feedback loops. This means crafting seamless experiences that connect agent authoring, evaluation, deployment, and lifecycle management — and empowering technically savvy and SME users alike to build with confidence.

The Role

We’re seeking a Director/Senior Director–level individual contributor Product Manager to drive deep technical work that powers Agentforce Authoring. You’ll partner closely with the Product lead for Authoring to define the overall vision and north star for how enterprises build great agents. Your focus is owning and shipping critical technical tracks that make the vision real.

This is a high-impact role at the center of Salesforce’s AI + Platform strategy—perfect for a builder who loves hard technical problems and shipping durable platform capabilities at scale.

What You’ll Do

Product Vision & Strategy

  • Help shape the end-to-end product strategy for how the various personas involved (developers, SMEs, admins, line of business) collaborate to build great agent

  • Help shape the roadmap for low-code and pro-code authoring, ensuring seamless transitions between declarative tools and developer workflows (APIs/SDKs/CLIs).

  • Set success metrics (e.g., build→activate conversion, time-to-first-value, evaluation coverage, production reliability) and drive measurable outcomes.

Execution & Delivery

  • Define crisp problem statements with measurable outcomes. Translate into product requirements that can be successfully designed and delivered.

  • Integrate user research, telemetry, and customer feedback into iterative product improvements and long-term bets.

  • Partner with Enablement, Docs, and Marketing on launches, adoption, and customer success — from pilot to GA and scale.

Collaboration & Influence

  • Align a matrixed organization spanning platform, runtime, evaluation, data, and client surfaces to ship cohesive end-to-end experiences.

  • Translate complex technical concepts (LLM orchestration, tool execution, policies/guardrails, evaluation loops) into clear product requirements and experiences.

  • Influence senior leaders on strategy, investment trade-offs, and phased delivery plans; communicate crisply with executives and field teams.

Required Qualifications

  • A related technical degree required.

  • 7+ years in Product Management

  • Proven track record shipping platform products for technical personas (developers/admins): SDKs/APIs, workflow/orchestration, IDE or builder experiences.

  • Deep familiarity with AI/agents or adjacent domains (LLM tooling, prompt/agent authoring, evaluation/test frameworks, observability).

  • Demonstrated success influencing across backend platform, runtime/orchestration, evaluation, and client surfaces to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to align diverse teams around a clear vision and measurable outcomes.

Preferred (Love to Have)

  • Fluency across low-code and developer-first ecosystems; can design seamless handoffs between declarative builders and APIs/SDKs/CLIs.

  • Deep technical chops: comfortable owning backend primitives (metadata models, services, orchestration), authoring public APIs/SDKs, and partnering closely with architects on performance, reliability, and security.

  • Hands-on familiarity with emerging agentic tools and builders (e.g., Cursor, Vercel, Replit, plus modern agent frameworks) and the ability to translate their strengths into an enterprise-grade roadmap.

  • Strong product and design sense: turns complex systems into elegant primitives, patterns, and opinionated defaults that scale.

Who You Are

You’re a systems thinker and product strategist who loves turning ambiguity into a crisp roadmap. You’re comfortable at multiple altitudes — from architecture and metadata to customer value narratives and launch plans. You obsess over customer outcomes, value speed with quality, and believe trustworthy AI comes from great tooling, rigorous evaluation, and thoughtful governance. You thrive in matrixed environments and elevate the teams around you.
