Responsibilities

Join one of the fastest growing IT software companies in our Hong Kong office. Solve highly complex issues for customers and partners.

As Tech Support, you will be responsible for solving customer technical issues concerning their implementation of our software, encompassing Odoo’s many business apps: accounting, point of sale, stock, website, and others. While most issues are solved in the first stage of support, Functional Support, tech issues are the ones that could not be solved through business logic alone.

Rest assured, communication with customers in tech support is strictly done through emails (direct calls may happen once a year but don’t worry, you will be coached for that).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify problems, analyze them, and resolve them
  • Understand internal processes to better dispatch issues
  • Provide quick and accurate feedback to customers
  • Get involved in side projects of internal relevance
  • Develop or improve internal tools

MUST HAVE

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Fluency in spoken English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Diplomacy & communication skills
  • Expert in at least one programming language
  • Understanding of object modeling and relational databases

NICE TO HAVE

  • Know our tech stack (Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript)
  • Know the Unix-Linux platform
  • Experience in IT and/or IT support
  • Know any other programming language
  • 1-3 years relevant experience
