We are currently searching for a highly motivated candidates to
be our Sous Chef at our Buffalo, NY office!


What we expect

This is a 100% onsite role in Buffalo, NY.

As Odoo Chefs, we are tasked with bringing a creative and innovative culinary experience to our team members. We do this by maintaining a consistent quality and presentation in every dish while adhering to strict food safety and sanitation to ensure the health and well-being of our team members.

The Sous Chef will be responsible for managing the preparation, execution, cleanliness, organization, and food safety regulations of the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This candidate will work hands-on with the staff to ensure all recipes and standards are kept. The Sous Chef will work with the Executive Chef on menu development, recipe creation, ordering, scheduling, and organization.

Schedule: Full-time schedule. Monday through Friday, ~ 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Starting Pay: $52,000 - $58,000 per year
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations, including prep and service
  • Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and timely execution of all dishes
  • Adhere to and promote food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and special event offerings
  • Help manage inventory through ordering, receiving, and proper storage
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment throughout the day to support smooth and efficient kitchen operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen stations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Participate in the execution of high-volume service and large-scale banquets
Must Haves
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen
  • Strong culinary skills

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $52,000-$58,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
