About The Job

In this role, you will support the VP of People and the People leadership team and act as a thought partner in highly impactful, company-wide decisions and plans. You will be in charge of the details and help operationalise and execute key decisions.

You effectively manage the needs and demands of the VP of People leadership as they relate to our company’s growth plans, culture, and people insights. You will be an active leadership team member, contributing to the people's agenda and driving the roadmap while supporting business review preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strong business partner to VP of People and senior leadership team, proactively advising the run of the business.

  • Administrate, track and communicate the People programs portfolio, stepping ahead of the needs and ensuring all teams are aligned to the Domain goals.

  • Leading key strategic People Programs where necessary.

  • Responsible for long- and short-term range modelling of OPEX and budget requirements with transparency into drivers and tracking the execution of spending and savings.

  • Based on detailed business analysis and models, you will proactively advise stakeholders on their departments’ financial performance, expenses, volume and non-volume-related FTE growth, and other relevant KPIs.

  • Ad-hoc analyses and business cases are part of the scope whenever the business needs them.

  • You will also enhance working methods within the VP of People organisation team. For example, standardising processes, creating new ones, or strengthening planning and control should be considered.

  • Lead the People Leadership team meetings/workshops/offsites, working with the team on content.

  • You will cooperate with the company's Business/functions and relevant teams..

  • This role requires a dynamic and proactive person with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Due to Mollie's rapid and continuous growth, the tasks and duties of this role will evolve. You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and challenge yourself to take on additional projects and responsibilities as they present themselves.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Chief of Staff, in Strategy and Planning or a Strategy/Operations role.

  • Experience in consulting, strategy, operations, project management, and/or related roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Google Sheets are required.

  • Experience requires business acumen, analytical problem solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to executive management.

  • Shows confidence, clarity, flexibility and credibility even under conditions of stress, pressure, and uncertainty.

  • Operate at a strategic level as well as execute on tactical and operational work, be ready to roll up sleeves.

  • Can navigate our fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial spirit
