As a member of the Security Engineering team, you will support engineering teams in strengthening infrastructure security while enabling innovation. Collaborate with engineering teams to establish and maintain a secure cloud environment.
Design, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructures to protect against cyber threats.
Develop automated solutions to efficiently address security challenges.
Create and maintain security infrastructure and controls aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards.
Seamlessly integrate security into the software development lifecycle through collaboration with product and engineering teams.
Conduct design reviews and actively participate in threat modeling sessions.
What you’ll bring :
Demonstrated expertise in security fundamentals, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
Proven ability to analyze, problem-solve, and communicate effectively.
Minimum of two years of hands-on cloud security experience on at least one major public cloud platform (GCP preferred).
Successful track record in securing cloud infrastructures.
In-depth knowledge of securing containerized applications and orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
Experience with automation using Python, Shell Script, or Go programming languages.
Strong foundation in Linux systems and shell scripting.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab.

Understanding of Shift Left Security principles and experience with SRE or DevSecOps practices.
Nice to haves :
Experience with relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., GCP Cloud Security Engineer).
Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS).
Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., Sysdig).
