Head of Growth

Mollie is seeking a dynamic, determined and experienced Head of Growth Marketing to lead us through a scaling up of our global lead generation program in order to 10X leads across our self-serve and direct sales channels by in 2025. The successful candidate will be a key decision-maker in Mollie’s GTM strategy and part of the Brand & Growth domain executive leadership team, manage 10+ performance marketers (Paid Search, Paid Social, Email, SEO, Web, Analytics), and day-to-day own the strategy, plan and roadmaps for Mollie’s centralized Demand Generation and Website teams based in Amsterdam.
Key responsibilities
Growth Marketing Leadership:
Turn around the growth marketing area to significantly boost lead generation.
Oversee the global lead generation program, ensuring alignment with regional domains and field marketing teams.
Develop and execute comprehensive growth plans across multiple channels and lifecycle stages per focus market.
Collaboration, planning and stakeholder management:
Play leading role in annual planning and budget setting across Mollie’s focus regions.
Work with stakeholders across the org to set budget and plans for growth marketing channels.
Support successful marketing campaign execution - including brand, lead generation, GTM and other campaigns - through providing frameworks for measurement, self-serve tools, guides, insights and rigorous reporting.
Report on marketing results and justify spend to senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and the founder.
Influence and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment and support for growth initiatives.
Craft and performance management:
Coach and manage 10 performance marketing specialists, covering areas such as paid search, paid media, web, SEO, marketing email, marketing tech, and analytics.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, providing guidance and professional development.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Own marketing data and analytics, guiding the marketing and commerce teams towards best practices and data-led decision-making.
Maintain a razor-sharp technical understanding, gradually taking over management of our full marketing tech stack, including Framer, our CRM, Google Analytics 4, and more.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in B2B/SaaS growth marketing, with a track record of successfully turning around marketing functions and driving lead generation.
Technical proficiency in marketing data and analytics, with the ability to manage and optimize a complex marketing tech stack.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing marketing teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to report to and influence C-suite executives.
Resilient and composed under pressure, with a non-defensive attitude and the ability to positively influence others.
Willingness to embrace change and continuously level up the organization’s marketing capabilities.
Preference for candidates with broader B2B/SaaS experience rather than exclusively fintech.
Has successfully led a similar transformation in a previous role.
