What does Hybrid mean at Hinge Health?

About the Role
Our company is seeking a highly skilled and fluent Spanish (US) Translator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for translating website and mobile app content, as well as improving machine translations, to ensure that our products and features are accessible to Spanish speaking populations. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, possess excellent attention to detail and cultural awareness, and have strong communication and collaboration skills.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a college degree and be completely fluent in both Spanish (US) and English (US). They will have experience in translation, though it is not required, and must have strong language proficiency in both English and Spanish (US). The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to manage their time effectively, and possess excellent reading comprehension and copy editing skills.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Translate website and mobile app content to accurately convey the intended message to Spanish speaking populations
  • Improve machine translations to ensure that they are clear, culturally appropriate, and accurately reflect the original message
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to identify areas where translation improvements can be made and implement those changes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (conversational is not sufficient)
  • Strong language proficiency in both English and Spanish
  • Cultural awareness and attention to detail
  • Strong writing and copy editing skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent reading comprehension skills
  • Great verbal communication and collaboration skills
