Stock Administrator
Harness
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Stock Administrator to support our growing global equity program, with a focus on India-based employees. This role will be responsible for day-to-day equity operations, employee support, and compliance activities, working closely with cross-functional teams in People, Payroll, Legal, and Finance. You will help ensure our equity program is administered accurately and in compliance with local and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer equity transactions in our equity management system (e.g., Shareworks, Carta), including new grants, exercises, releases, and terminations
- Act as the primary point of contact for India-based employees regarding equity-related questions, taxation, and reporting
- Coordinate with global payroll and tax teams to ensure proper tax withholding, filings, and compliance for equity transactions in India
- Monitor vesting schedules, terminations, and other triggering events and ensure accurate system updates
- Assist with education sessions and communications for local employees to ensure understanding of their equity awards.
- Stay up-to-date on India equity tax and regulatory requirements; partner with external counsel or consultants as needed
- Support special projects including M&A, mobility, and process improvements
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in stock administration
- Experience with equity platforms (e.g. Shareworks)
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage data with accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
- Prior experience supporting equity programs
- Familiarity with India-specific equity taxation, payroll processes, and regulatory reporting
- Exposure to M&A transactions, global mobility, or public company reporting
- CEP certification or progress toward it is a plus
