Harness is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead the charge in building the next generation of innovations in Continuous Delivery (CD). In this role, you’ll guide a distributed engineering team spanning multiple geographies, developing new capabilities on top of our platform. You’ll collaborate closely with customers to address escalations, refine feature requirements, and make strategic product decisions that shape the evolution of our CD offering.

As an Engineering Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing this vision—staying closely aligned with our customers, building features that attract new users, and expanding adoption across our existing customer base.
- You’ll collaborate with exceptional engineers and architects, driving key technology decisions that power the world-class features distinguishing our product from the competition.
- As a technical leader, you’ll champion code quality, performance, and best practices—ensuring that every line of code is robust, scalable, and production-ready. Beyond execution, you’ll shape and evolve our technical vision, define forward-looking roadmaps, and inspire your team to innovate and push boundaries.

About you
- Proven Leader: 3+ years leading high-performing engineering teams, balancing technical depth with people leadership.
- Builder’s Mindset: 5+ years building SaaS applications in backend (Java/Go) roles, with a passion for hands-on architecture and coding.
- Organization Builder: A track record of assembling and scaling world-class engineering orgs.
- Global Collaborator: Comfortable leading teams and working with customers across time zones.
- Customer-Obsessed: You’ve directly influenced customer satisfaction and know what it takes to deliver mission-critical, customer-facing software.
- Performance-Driven: Skilled in building multi-tenant SAAS platforms that deliver seamless user experiences.
- Battle-Tested: Strong command of managing production incidents and leading effective on-call rotations.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, alerting, logging and Performance optimisation in large-scale systems.
- Hands-on experience in various Cloud Platforms or Kubernetes is highly desirable
- Technically Grounded: BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
