As a Senior Product Designer at Harness, you’ll play a key role in shaping our product’s user experience. You’ll work alongside product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to craft elegant, user-centered solutions. From ideation and user research to wireframing, prototyping, and final UI design, you’ll own the design process for new features. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our product, ensuring designs are functional, beautiful, and aligned with both user needs and business goals.
About You
- With 3+ years of product design experience, your portfolio demonstrates an ability to solve complex problems and create intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
- Skilled at balancing user needs with business goals, you bring a meticulous attention to detail from concept through launch.
- Experience spans the full design lifecycle—ideation, prototyping, iteration, and delivery—while collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- A strong believer that user insights drive great design, you actively seek and apply data to inform decisions.
- Beyond solid UX principles, your visual design skills stand out—producing interfaces that are both aesthetically refined and highly functional.
- Thrives in fast-paced startup settings, taking ownership of work and approaching challenges with energy and creativity.
- Keeps a pulse on AI design trends, applying emerging tools to enhance workflow and produce exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative, user-focused solutions.
- Communicate design concepts across the product lifecycle through wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Incorporate user feedback and business needs into continuous product improvements.
- Champion design-centered enhancements, advocating for refinements that improve user experience and overall product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in product or UX design.
- Strong experience in product thinking, user research, and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to case studies.
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience working on complex SaaS products, especially in cybersecurity, application security, or developer tools.
- 1+ year of experience leading large-scale end-to-end design projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially with complex issues, and a solid understanding of technical constraints and limitations.
- A keen eye for detail, with excellent visual design skills that enhance the overall user experience.
Work Location
Tandil, Argentina or remote, within Argentina.
