What You'll Do
Build & Architect
- Design and implement next-generation CI/CD systems using cutting-edge technology and industry best practices
- Develop scalable automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure for distributed engineering teams
- Create custom scripts and automation solutions using modern testing and deployment tools
- Establish and maintain SLAs for engineering tools and infrastructure systems
Lead & Influence
- Collaborate with engineers globally to identify and solve build, deployment, and quality challenges
- Drive adoption of automation best practices and quality-first methodologies across engineering teams
- Evangelize quality from a customer perspective, educating teams on effective testing strategies
- Mentor engineers and promote automation framework adoption throughout the organization
Optimize & Innovate
- Generate actionable metrics to measure and improve infrastructure tool performance and engineering productivity
- Identify and implement test automation strategies aligned with product and platform quality requirements
- Research and recommend emerging technologies for dev/ops/quality engineering advancement
- Challenge existing solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
Technical Expertise
- Extensive Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in tools development and/or building automation infrastructure, with a strong focus on on-premise and SaaS solutions.
- CI/CD Mastery: Deep hands-on experience building and maintaining CI systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab) and familiarity with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium,PyTest).
- Technical Acumen: Strong experience working with REST/GraphQL/gRPC-based microservices running on Kubernetes.
- Programming Prowess: Excellent programming and code review knowledge, preferably in Python and Java.
- Cloud Savvy: Ability to build solutions on cloud infrastructure.
- SCM Expertise: Proficient with distributed SCM tools like Git.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Security Domain (Highly Preferred): Prior experience in security product development or testing.
- Big Picture: Understanding of software architecture, system relationships, and complex technology integration

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technical leadership experience across multiple technology domains
- Strong communication skills for technical presentations and cross-functional
Work Location
- Bangalore. The successful candidate will be expected to be in the Bangalore office 3x/ week.
