Job Description:

As a Video Editor Intern at Groww, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced video production team, assisting in the creation of engaging and visually appealing video content. You will be working with the core video production team to create, organize and manage video contents for our various YouTube channels, social media channels E.g. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter etc. This internship will provide valuable insights into the video production process and offer you the chance to develop your editing skills in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Production: Support in planning video projects, including idea development, scripting, storyboarding, shot planning, and preparing production schedules.
Video Editing: Transform raw footage into engaging and polished videos for platforms like YouTube, social media, and internal communications.
Content Development: Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm concepts, develop narratives, and contribute to visual storytelling.
Post-Production: Handle editing tasks such as color grading, sound design, subtitles, and integrating motion graphics or visual effects to elevate video quality.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines, technical standards, and maintain a high level of visual and narrative consistency.
Industry Awareness: Stay current with trends in video production, editing techniques, and software updates to continuously improve output and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with videographers, designers, and content strategists to deliver cohesive, creative, and impactful video content from start to finish.

Requirements:

Proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After effects, Da Vinci Resolve, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and similar.
Basic knowledge of video production equipment and techniques.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
Creativity and a passion for video editing and storytelling.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
A strong portfolio or reel showcasing your video editing skills (if available)
