At Databricks, our Business Value Consultants (BVCs) are trusted advisors who connect Databricks’ Data Intelligence Platform to measurable business outcomes. You’ll partner closely with sales and customer teams to quantify impact, shape strategy, and guide executives on how data and AI can unlock value at scale. This is a high-impact, strategic role at the intersection of enterprise innovation and business transformation. As part of our EMEA Value Acceleration team, you’ll join a diverse, collaborative group of experts helping organizations rethink how they use data to compete and grow.
The impact you will have:
- Partner with Sales Leadership to ensure every customer engagement is anchored in measurable value creation and realization.
- Lead strategic pursuits for key accounts, shaping win strategies and quantifying customer impact.
- Build and validate business cases that demonstrate realized ROI from Databricks solutions.
- Guide executive engagements to co-create AI and data roadmaps that drive long-term transformation.
- Coach field teams on value-selling principles to strengthen customer conversations.
- Collaborate with Marketing to showcase customer success stories through presentations, blogs, and whitepapers.
- Develop reusable financial models and value frameworks for the broader go-to-market team.
- Identify opportunities to evolve our value-selling approach and embed scalable best practices across EMEA.
- Partner with GTM leaders to align on regional strategy, industry trends, and growth opportunities.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
- 9+ years in enterprise software sales, consulting, or business transformation, including 5+ years in Business Value Consulting or similar strategic roles.
- Proven ability to apply data-driven analysis to business challenges and quantify results.
- Deep understanding of how data, analytics, ML, and AI accelerate business outcomes.
- Strong storytelling, presentation, and executive-level communication skills.
- Expertise in building financial models, ROI frameworks, and value realization plans.
- High business acumen with a consultative, problem-solving approach.
- Collaborative mindset and track record of expanding customer relationships and influencing outcomes.
