Mission:
The Cloud Solutions Engineering team is responsible for developing innovative software tooling that will assist engineers to be more efficient at their jobs. The team works hand-in-hand with different teams and content creators, to design, iterate, and execute on a variety of tools & pipelines. The QA Engineer will assist by developing, maintaining and executing test plans. They will be assisting in engineering release activities, testing/debugging web applications and APIs. Finally they would also develop automated test tools, frameworks and scripts as needed.
Impact you will have:
- Play an active role in developing platform and components qualification plans, and guide the team on execution and automation of these tests.
- Develop and enhance internal framework and tools required for qualification and automation.
- Supporting junior team members (training, mentoring & troubleshooting)
- Providing regular feedback on automated test results to the development team.
- Responsible for accurate documentation and delivering stable robust features.
Competencies:
- 4-8 years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Deep understanding and skills on debugging and root causing issues in Software applications
- Analyze and understand user requirements to envision strong technical solutions.
- Design and development skills using Python or similar programming languages
- UI automation testing tools such as Selenium
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Good command on tools for bug tracking, reporting & documentation.
- Cloud engineering experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) or Microsoft Azure is a plus.
- Docker and Kubernetes orchestration is a plus.
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL preferred).
- Knowledge on Load/Performance(Non functional) testing is a plus.
- You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and be a team player.
