About This Role:

As the Production Planning Manager, you will lead the production planning function for Crusoe's Manufacturing organization, ensuring production schedules, material availability, and manufacturing capacity are aligned to support the rapid delivery of AI infrastructure products. You will manage a team of Production Planners while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Program Management, Logistics, and Quality to optimize production flow, improve schedule adherence, and enable scalable manufacturing operations.

This is a highly visible people leadership role that combines strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution. The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and has a passion for developing high-performing teams. This is a full-time, onsite position (Arvada, Colorado) supporting Crusoe's advanced manufacturing operations.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Lead the Production Planning Team – Hire, mentor, coach, and develop a team of Production Planners while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive S&OP across organizational functions – Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to ensure production plans support business priorities and customer commitments.

  • Own Master Production Schedule (MPS) – Develop and maintain production schedules that balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, labor availability, and material readiness.

  • Optimize Manufacturing Operations – Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules to maximize throughput, improve schedule attainment, and minimize disruptions.

  • Manage Capacity Planning – Evaluate manufacturing capacity, labor constraints, and production resources to support both short-term execution and long-term growth.

  • Improve Planning Processes – Develop scalable planning processes, reporting, and standard work that increase efficiency and support Crusoe's rapidly expanding manufacturing footprint.

  • Monitor Operational Performance – Track key performance indicators including schedule attainment, on-time delivery, inventory health, production throughput, and planning accuracy while driving corrective actions when needed.

  • Support New Product Introductions (NPI) – Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to successfully transition new products into production while minimizing operational risk.

  • Leverage ERP & Planning Systems – Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage production planning, inventory, work orders, and manufacturing schedules while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, supply chain, or operations within a manufacturing environment.

  • 3+ years of direct people management experience leading production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations teams.

  • Experience managing Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and capacity planning within a complex manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar manufacturing planning platforms.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) to drive operational decision-making.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, prioritize competing business needs, and communicate effectively with both frontline teams and executive leadership.

  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence principles to improve planning accuracy, production efficiency, and delivery performance.

  • Experience supporting the manufacturing of electrical systems, modular infrastructure, data center equipment, or other complex industrial products.

Compensation:

Compensation will be paid in the range of $155,000 - $185,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
