What You’ll Be Working On
Lead execution of the site-level QA/QC program for large-scale, mission-critical data center construction
Develop and maintain the Site-Level Quality Management Plan (QMP)
Ensure critical MEP systems (electrical distribution, mechanical cooling, controls) are installed in accordance with design intent, specifications, and performance requirements
Partner closely with construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to drive quality outcomes
Develop and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and inspection processes across all project phases
Perform and oversee field inspections across civil, structural, and MEP scopes, with a strong emphasis on system-level quality
Coordinate with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and third-party special inspectors on code compliance and inspection sign-offs
Validate installation against drawings, specifications, submittals, and commissioning requirements
Drive pre-functional and functional readiness in coordination with commissioning teams
Provide quality sign-off for systems prior to commissioning and turnover
Track and manage deficiencies, punch lists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) end-to-end
Analyze quality metrics, defect trends, and rework drivers to identify systemic issues and drive continuous improvement
Enforce contractual quality standards across GCs and subcontractors, including escalation of non-conformance and corrective actions
Ensure completeness and accuracy of turnover documentation (as-builts, redlines, test reports, O&M manuals)
Support audit readiness and maintain high-quality documentation and reporting standards

High-quality MEP system installations ready for first-pass commissioning success
Minimal rework driven by early detection and proactive quality enforcement
Strong alignment between construction execution and commissioning outcomes
Reduced repeat defects and systemic quality issues across trades
Clean, complete, and audit-ready turnover documentation packages
Clear visibility into quality performance through metrics and reporting
Who You Are
5–7+ years (Manager) / 8–12+ years (Senior) experience in construction QA/QC, ideally within mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of MEP systems, including electrical distribution and mechanical/cooling systems
Experience supporting commissioning readiness and system turnover
Proven ability managing NCRs, punch lists, inspections, and QA documentation at scale
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-driven environment with multiple stakeholders
Strong attention to detail with a systems-oriented and analytical mindset
Experience using quality data (defect tracking, trend analysis) to drive decisions and improvements
Nice to Have
Data center or hyperscale experience (AWS, Meta, Google, Microsoft, etc.)
Complex large scale commercial construction experience such as Healthcare, Semi-Conductor, Refinery, or Central Plants
Experience working closely with commissioning (Cx) teams
Familiarity with tools such as Procore, BIM360, or similar construction management platforms
Relevant certifications (CQM, CQI, PMP, or similar)

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $160,000 -$170,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
