Joining Collibra’s Marketing team

Collibra is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team to cover key industries. Reporting directly to the Director of Product Marketing, you will be a key individual contributor responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy for our products and services, specifically around key industries such as public sector, financial services, healthcare and more. You will be the bridge between our go-to-market and Product teams and our customers, translating core messaging into differentiated industry narratives.

Success in this role requires a strong blend of industry knowledge, technical knowledge, marketing acumen, and exceptional communication skills. You will be instrumental in articulating the value of our innovative products to both technical and business audiences.

This is a hybrid role based in our Raleigh office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.

The Product Marketing Manager for Industries at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute industry specific go-to-market strategies by synthesizing deep market, competitive, and customer insights, with a strong focus on technical differentiators and use cases.
  • Industry Messaging & Positioning: Define and refine differentiated industry messaging and positioning that highlights the unique capabilities and value of our products. This includes crafting narratives that resonate with key user personas across industries
  • Content Creation: Create high-impact industry content, including solution briefs, whitepapers, blog posts, demo videos, and presentations in concert with the rest of the PMM team.
  • Product Launches: Lead and coordinate cross-functional product launches, working closely with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure a seamless and impactful launch of new features and products.
  • Sales Enablement: Help equip our Sales, Solution Engineering, and Partner teams with the knowledge and content they need to effectively sell all aspects of the Collibra Platform (commercial), Collibra Platform for Government, and Collibra Platform Self-Hosted.
  • Industry & Customer Engagement: Act as a subject matter expert at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings. Present to and engage with various industry audiences to showcase our solutions and gather critical feedback.

You have

  • 5 years of product marketing experience, ideally in global technology companies.
  • Experience with adapting core product marketing messaging to specific verticals including public sector, financial services, and healthcare
  • A strong understanding of core concepts in data management. Experience with related technologies is a significant plus.
  • Product Marketing Experience: Proven experience in a product marketing role, preferably for a B2B enterprise software or SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

You are

  • A self-starter: able to develop plans and strategies and execute against them in a semi-autonomous fashion
  • An exceptional communicator: outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling, and concise content for various audiences.
  • A strategic thinker: ability to synthesize market insights, technical capabilities, and customer needs into a coherent and impactful go-to-market strategy.
  • A technical translator: proven success in blending technical knowledge, marketing messaging, and industry expertise into easy-to-understand, yet complex storytelling narratives that are unique for each vertical you cover.

Measures of success

  • Within 3 months: You will have a solid understanding of our core marketing message, our unique solutions, and the needs of our go-to-market teams. You will begin building relationships with key stakeholders in go-to-market as well as Product and Engineering.
  • Within 6 months: You will have developed and executed an industry GTM plan for three key verticals. You will have a portfolio of industry content that is actively being used by sales and marketing.
  • Within 12 months: You will be a trusted advisor and subject matter expert of our marketing message for three to four verticals, delivering a portfolio of assets and activities that directly contribute to pipeline growth and revenue targets.
