Senior Software Engineer – Payment Workflows
At Cedar, we’re transforming the patient billing experience to make healthcare payments affordable, transparent, and stress-free. Our Payment Workflows squad is at the heart of this mission, focusing on helping patients feel supported in their healthcare payment journey by offering affordable, flexible, and transparent payment experiences that consolidate and demystify financial information across insurance entities and healthcare providers.

What You’ll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare payments by:
- Leading the design and implementation of new full-stack features from end to end.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to enhance our platform.
- Building and improving our core checkout flow, payment integrations (Stripe), and differentiated payment experiences like HBA/HSA support, and third-party financing.
- Enhancing the user experience, making it easier for patients to save cards, set up autopay, and manage payment plans—core functionalities that set Cedar apart.
- Upholding engineering excellence through thoughtful code reviews, performance optimizations, and reliability improvements.

Compensation Range and Benefits:
- Salary/Hourly Rate Range*: $195,500 - $230,000
- This role is equity eligible
