About the team
Product Platform’s mission is to ‘Build pathways that empower Canva to deliver a delightful experience for billions of users’. We help teams across Canva build better product faster, instead of reinventing common building blocks. Product Platform consists of four groups: Product Insights Enablement, Client Platform, User Platform, and API Platform.
This role sits across User Platform and API Platform — two of the most technically foundational groups in the supergroup. User Platform is responsible for building the core user identity and permissions capabilities that power Canva’s product at scale. API Platform group’s vision is to empower Canva with a secure, unified traffic and API platform that makes connectivity seamless, reliable, and resilient at scale.
About Technical Program Managers at Canva
At Canva, we’re all constantly striving towards our Crazy Big Goals! Since growing to a worldwide team of over 5,000 we need to work effectively together and improve our delivery ability as we scale — which is where our Technical Program Managers come in.
As a TPM, your mission is to work closely with senior managers and development teams to build a sustainable culture of positive urgency in delivery. You’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs and be equally comfortable working with leadership to set strategic goals as you are discussing technical trade-offs with an engineer.
