Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Alongside our global campuses, we collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals.
For this role, we’re focusing on Sydney-based contractors, so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This is a 12-month engagement, working full-time hours per week.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. That’s especially true for Canva Print.
As a Brand Design Contractor within the Print Discovery team, you’ll help scale the visual experience of Canva Print’s marketplace — from homepage merchandising to seasonal campaigns to product collections.
Print is evolving into an always-on marketplace with continuous product launches, campaign refreshes, and SKU expansion. As asset demand grows, your role will be critical in maintaining speed, consistency, and visual polish across all logged-out Print surfaces.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Producing high-quality digital marketing and merchandising assets across Print’s homepage, category and product surfaces
- Leading visual execution for seasonal campaigns and ongoing product launches
- Preparing CMS-ready assets for scalable rollout
- Adapting and refreshing campaign assets for regional and seasonal launches
- Supporting mockup background updates and refinements where upstream capacity is constrained
- Applying Canva’s vibrant brand direction thoughtfully across Print surfaces
- QA’ing and refining assets prior to rollout to maintain high visual standards
Your work will directly support conversion, trust and acquisition by ensuring Print surfaces feel premium, clear and compelling at scale
You’re probably a match if you
- Have strong digital graphic design and/or branding design skills (with a beautiful portfolio to prove it)
- Bring proven experience producing high-quality digital campaign, marketing, and merchandising assets
- Have a refined visual eye and strong understanding of layout, hierarchy, typography, and composition
- Can apply brand systems confidently and consistently across high-volume surfaces
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-output production environments
- Balance speed with polish — delivering quickly without compromising visual standards
- Are highly detail-oriented and care deeply about craft and consistency
- Are confident working in Figma and comfortable managing structured component systems
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Product, Content, Engineering)
- Have a strong bias toward execution and delivery
- Ideally have experience in ecommerce, marketplace, or other conversion-driven environments
- Are familiar with mockup workflows or image-based production systems
