What your day will look like:

As the Team Leader for the Production Team, you will spearhead a team dedicated to Operations and to the development and maintenance of our platform's boot and deployment process.

This includes delivering Installations, upgrade and patches on a weekly basis and providing tools to better do so.

On the development side you will be responsible for the orchestration of our product into an appliance (OVA), administration of the underlying Linux OS, management of host services, and overseeing our primary containerization engine (Docker) that powers the Axonius application.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and skilled leader to contribute to the core of Axonius’ technology landscape, driving innovation and excellence in our engineering practices. Join us in redefining the standards of technological engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • All deployment operations to our online customer environments.
  • Management of the application boot process.
  • Architect and sustain the pipeline for generating the platform appliance (OVA/AMI).
  • Be responsible for solving difficult problems regarding the architecture and deployment of the Axonius Product.
  • Leading and building new deployment mechanisms for complicated environments.
  • Axonius support in multiple Linux distributions and variants (e.g RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
  • Optimization of Linux configurations for better performance.
  • Compliance with industry-standard security and regulatory requirements.

Reach out if you are:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience with Linux system administration in multiple Linux distributions (e.g Ubuntu, Redhat, CentOS)
  • Experience with containerized environments - Docker-Compose, K8s.
  • Proficient in networking principles - TCP / IP, routing, ip-tables.
  • Hands-on dev experience in one or more programming languages - Python, Golang, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD methodologies.
  • Experience with Virtualization technologies.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills combined with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience in optimizing Linux production environments for performance - e.g. Swappiness policies, FS, Disks.
  • Experience with configuration management systems like Ansible - Advantage.
