Duration: 6 Months with the potential of being hired into a more long-term capacity.
Weekly Hours: East Coast or ability to work East Coast (8am-5pm with overtime from time to time)
Location: 100% Remote based in the US
Salary range guidance for this position is: $35-40 per hour
The role:
We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented People Team Assistant role. This remote position will support various People Team functions, including HRIS support, compliance, new hire onboarding experience, international mobility assistance, and employee life-cycle support such as LOAs, safety, and benefits.
This role will report directly to the Director, People Business Partner, Americas, and collaborate with the People team across the US to ensure seamless operations and support for our employees.
What you will do:
HRIS Support:
- Assist in the management and maintenance of the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Input and update employee data accurately and ensure data integrity.
- Generate reports and analytics as needed.
- Provided user support and assisted employees with HRIS-related inquiries.
Data Integrity:
- Conduct audits and thorough reviews of HR records and files to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Identify and rectify any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Assist in maintaining data confidentiality and security.
New Hire Onboarding:
- Will help with supporting the onboarding experience in a strong partnership with the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure high new employee engagement to include:
- Coordinate with employees after acceptance of a job offer to provide a warm handshake in the onboarding process transitioning from the Talent Acquisition team’s ownership to People Operations
- Coordination and facilitation of an entirely virtual new hire orientation.
- Preparing orientation materials and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Assisting new hires with paperwork and answering questions regarding company policies and procedures.
- Supporting an ongoing feedback model throughout the first few weeks of a new hires onboarding
General HR Support:
- Respond to People-Team tickets from employees and managers.
- Assist with reporting and payroll-related issues, in conjunction with the internal Payroll team
- Help coordinate international employees' relocations by initiating intakes, and collecting and organizing documents in partnership with outside immigration counsel.
- May occasionally communicate with external support on employee matters
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
What we expect:
- 2-3 years of HR Experience
- Confident knowledge of HR systems to include data entry, automation field customization (Experience with BambooHR, TriNet, Deel, CultureAmp & Greenhouse a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and self-instilled organizational skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Google Workspace with an emphasis on Google Sheets, and intelligently creating dashboards for different stakeholders (mostly internal)
- Ability to leverage GoogleWorkspace AI and automation tools to drive better efficiencies
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in an entirely remote environment
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Experience with Slack
- Enhanced technical experience with an employee Intranet platform, including a high emphasis on clear communication in both written and visual forms (Experience with Google Sites & Confluence a plus)
