As a key member of the People Business Partner team, you'll drive both the strategic vision and execution of programs that scale our organization, elevate leadership, and reinforce a culture that enables people to do the best work of their lives. You’ll work across functions to design and execute people strategies that are optimized for a remote-first, cybersecurity-first organization—balancing high growth with intentionality, empathy, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with People Business Partner leadership and business leaders to scale teams, elevate talent, and drive high-performing, values-aligned culture across a distributed global workforce.
- Use AI-driven people analytics and diagnostics to identify organizational opportunities early—and drive interventions that shape structure, leadership, and talent outcomes.
- Coach leaders to navigate organizational complexity, scale high-trust teams, and apply remote-first leadership practices that foster psychological safety and clarity.
- Build leadership capability through enablement programs that combine AI-driven learning, peer development, and just-in-time coaching systems.
- Collaborate across People COEs (Talent, DEI, Ops, Enablement, Total Rewards) to design holistic employee experiences—from onboarding to development to retention.
- Enhance and protect Abnormal’s unique culture by embedding scalable rituals, values-based recognition, and remote collaboration practices.
- Contribute to the evolution of People team programs using emerging tech—including generative AI, nudges, and workflow automation—to scale quality and speed across the employee lifecycle.
Must Haves
- 7+ years of progressive People Team experience with a focus on scaling organizations, developing leaders, and navigating high-growth change.
- Proven success in fast-paced, remote or hybrid tech environments, ideally in cybersecurity or enterprise software.
- Deep experience with organizational design, talent management, leadership coaching, and cultural transformation.
- Strong fluency in data-informed people strategies, with experience using dashboards, engagement platforms, or predictive people analytics tools.
- Experience partnering with global leaders and familiarity with international people practices, compliance, and remote leadership dynamics.
- Track record of coaching leaders through ambiguity and shifting business priorities—balancing candor, empathy, and speed.
- Strong program management skills—able to prioritize, execute, and scale people initiatives that have business impact.
- Clear, concise communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally and build trust at all levels.
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating AI tools into People workflows (e.g., talent reviews, coaching enablement, onboarding, internal mobility).
- Exposure to designing remote-first onboarding and development journeys that embed company values and culture from day one.
- Background in supporting technical, product, or GTM organizations during periods of rapid scale.
